EMILY C. RYAN
Associate Lawyer
Emily was born and raised in St. John’s. She graduated from Memorial University with a degree in Political Science and Sociology in 2015, and obtained her Law Degree from Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in Halifax, in 2018. She was called to the Newfoundland Bar in 2019, having been awarded the Provincial Court Judges’ Association Award for her marks on the bar exam.
Emily is passionate about family law, and has practiced extensively in that area during her years with the Legal Aid Commission. Since joining our firm, she has expanded her practice to include Corporate Law, Real Estate, Wills and Estates, and Personal Injury. She loves working with clients to find creative solutions for their matters; Emily will work hard to help find common ground to keep clients out of Court when possible, but has significant experience advocating in both Provincial and Supreme Courts all across the Province to ensure the best possible outcome for her clients.
